As we mentioned in our previous blog post, we are preparing for our next trade show, which will be the ICE Exchange in San Antonio, Texas, from November 11th – 14th. This is the annual conference of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence.
Here is some information about another interesting presentation, which will be held at the ICE Exchange.
Going Global Part 2: Intentionally International
Linda K. Anguish, SPHR, GPHR and Rory E. McCorkle, International Credentialing Associates
Making the decision to go global with your certification program is a major decision. Once that decision has been made, however, where should you go from there? This session will focus on being intentional in your international growth: the process for selecting geographic areas on which to focus, adapting or creating a product for that market, choosing the delivery model, and making decisions related to psychometrics and recertification requirements.
This presentation discusses many of the decisions required to build a global credentialing program, once an organization has made the decision to globalize their program and invest accordingly. Incorporating the perspectives of market research, test development, program management, and exam delivery, this presentation captures the key decision points in this process – and potential paths that have been taken by successful credentialing organizations in the past.
This presentation takes place on Wednesday, November 12th 2014.
